Chimichurri Steak Bites with Yukon Golds & Blistered Green Beans

Beef

Inspired by a recipe I saw from foodwithbearhands.com — and it was killer. The entire family loved it. I changed it up slightly, but the flavors are spot on. Restaurant-level comfort food made right at home.

Directions

STEAK BITES

Instructions

Cut steak into 1x1-inch cubes.

Season generously with Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear steak bites for about 1 minute per side, until nicely browned. (Medium-rare is recommended for the best texture and flavor.)

Remove from heat and let rest.

CHIMICHURRI SAUCE

Instructions

Mince all fresh ingredients very fine.

Add to a bowl with remaining ingredients.

Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

GARLIC YUKON GOLD MASHES TATERS

Instructions

Wrap the whole head of garlic in foil and roast at 375°F for 30 minutes, until soft.

Boil diced Yukon gold potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes, until fork-tender. Drain well.

While potatoes are hot, gently warm the butter and heavy whipping cream together until melted (do not boil).

Mash the potatoes, then squeeze the roasted garlic cloves directly into the pot.

Pour the warm butter and cream mixture over the potatoes.

Add Montreal Steak Seasoning and mix until smooth and creamy.

BLISTERED GREED BEANS

Instructions

Heat a skillet over high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.

Add green beans in a single layer.

Cook undisturbed until blistered and lightly charred.

Season with Montreal Steak Seasoning

TO SERVE

Spoon creamy Yukon gold mashed potatoes onto a plate, top with steak bites, and drizzle generously with chimichurri. Serve blistered green beans on the side and enjoy 😮‍💨
