Sweet, spicy, and ice-cold—this summer sipper is a must-try! Frozen peaches, fresh lime, tequila & a hot honey kick with a Chile-Lime rim? Say less.
2 cups frozen peeled peach slices
4 oz jalapeño tequila (or your favorite tequila)
1 oz Cointreau
Juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp hot honey
2 oz simple syrup (recipe below)
1 cup ice
Chile-lime seasoning (like Tajín), for the rim
For Garnish: Fresh peach slice, mint sprig, or lime wedge
In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water. Warm over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Let cool before using. Store extras in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Use ripe peaches. Peel, slice around the pit, and cut into chunks. Freeze in a single layer for 2–3 hours, then store in a freezer bag.
Rub a lime wedge around the rim and dip into chile-lime seasoning. Optional: drizzle a bit of hot honey inside the glass for extra flavor and flair.
In a blender, combine: Frozen peaches, Tequila, Cointreau, Lime juice, Hot honey, Simple syrup, Ice. Blend until smooth and slushy.
Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a fresh peach slice and mint sprig. Cheers!
