Homemade Ginger Shots

If you buy ginger shots at a local juicer or neighborhood grocery store, why not try making them on your own at home? They are so much better and far fresher than store-bought. The best part, they literally take five minutes to make. All you need is 4 ingredients: ginger root, coconut water, lemons and cayenne pepper.

So why ginger shots you ask? Ginger is proven to work well as an anti-inflammatory, an immune-booster, and an antioxidant! Who could use a little bit of that right now, right?

Ingredients

1/4 cup ginger root (Washed and roughly chopped. No need to peel as you will strain.)

1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, from 3-4 lemons

1/4 to 1/2 cup coconut water

dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

Put all in a high-speed blender such as a Nutribullet or a Vitamix. Blend, strain, and shoot!
