Puff Pastry Spiral Brie

Appetizer

Nothing says amazing appetizer like this Puff Pastry Spiral Brie. Super simple to make, but look impressive. Loaded with puff pastry, melty cheese, honey, and lots of fresh herbs—it checks all the flavor boxes!

Ingredients

1 wheel of brie

4 sheets Pepperidge Farm puff pastry

1/4 cup honey

2 large, fresh rosemary sprigs

6 fresh thyme sprigs

1 egg

1/2 tsp flaky salt

1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°.

Roll out each piece of pastry. Drizzle each section liberally with honey and sprinkle with chopped rosemary, thyme, and flaky salt. Reserving a few herbs.

Roll each honey and herb pastry section into a long log. Slice the log lengthwise to expose the honey-herby layers. Repeat with remaining pastry pieces and set aside.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the brie lid in the middle. Twist the puff pastry pieces and arrange around the box, not too tightly as they will expand as they bake.

Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with remaining herbs.

Take the box lid out and place the Brie in its place. Score the top of the cheese in two directions and drizzle with honey and olive oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Transfer onto a platter and serve immediately, tearing the puff pastry and dipping into the melty cheese.
