What am I making for Thanksgiving Dinner?

Thanksgiving around the Berryhill household is pretty traditional. And honestly, I don’t veer off that traditional path or someone always wonders why their favorite dish didn’t make the menu. So I keep it simple and stick to what my family knows and loves.

Ninety-five percent is made from scratch. I do bring in some pre-made items that are top quality. So, why not cut a few corners if taste is not compromised, right?

So here we go. Here’s what’s on this year’s Thanksgiving menu. Each has its own recipe link. I hope this blog will help simplify your traditions this year. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Traditional Thanksgiving Turkey

Ham - This is one area where I get a little help from my local Costco or local spiral cut ham provider. I like to buy a traditional spiral cut ham. I cook according to package directions, but I add a can of Coke before wrapping it up in foil. It makes it really moist and a tad sweet.

Cranberry Sauce

Southern-style Cornbread Dressing

Mashed Potatoes

Creamy Onion Gravy

Peas & Mushrooms

Classic Green Bean Casserole

Hatch Green Chile Creamed Corn

Fresh Fall Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette

Rhodes Butt Rolls

Cinnamon Chocolate Bundt Cake with Homemade Whipped Cream
